Marauders

WE ARE THE MARAUDERS!

BG is well known for its successful high school athletics programs. From state championships to District VI crowns, student-athletes learn how to be confident, gracefully deal with wins and losses, work as a team for the greater good, and practice leadership skills in a healthy and supportive environment.

Our students are participants, not just spectators. Our knowledgeable coaches are dedicated and focus on the primary goal: to help student-athletes grow into exceptional people.

The Marauders are proud members of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association and Laurel Highlands Conference.

BG competes in the Laurel Highland Athletic Conference (LHAC) which is comprised of both public and private schools of all sizes. Our regular season schedules are set by the LHAC and the conference hosts annual playoffs.

The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA), https://www.piaa.org/ is the governing body for high school sports. Our geographic region puts us in PIAA District 6. BG adheres to all PIAA regulations. District 6 playoff results lead into the Pennsylvania state playoffs where teams compete in their particular classification which can vary by sport.

Every year a significant percentage of graduates go on to play sports at higher levels.

One of the most common comments we hear from college coaches about BG recruits is the quality of them as people.

Their personal discipline, respect, and teamwork they see truly distinguishes BG grads and makes the school highly regarded.
