A Strong Start

The learning that happens in elementary school sets an important foundation for the remainder of a child’s academic success. Each child achieves fundamental skills in reading, math, critical reasoning, and more. Science, technology, engineering and math skills are included but not at the expense of literacy and creativity.  All lessons go hand in hand.  Young learners transition from learning to read to reading to learn and develop a measure of independence which leads to confidence.

Our school is a happy environment. They make friends and have time to play where they develop social and teamwork skills. Teachers make sure children feel known, supported and loved.  They thrive in a comfortable atmosphere where both learning and play occur. 

Moral foundations are also emphasized.  Even the youngest children begin to grasp the importance of loving our neighbor, kindness, respect and the idea of a loving God.

As a Catholic school, religious education is present and available. For Catholic families, we offer preparation for the sacraments in accordance with our local priests. Families who are not Catholic appreciate the warm, healthy, loving Christian atmosphere. Many parents who choose our school feel it is very important to raise their children with a strong, moral foundation along with other families who feel the same.
