Early Education (Pre-K)

Early Education (Pre-K3 and Pre-K4)

Bishop Guilfoyle Academy is one of the few preschools in the area to offer both Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 as separate classes. Admissions can occur throughout the year.

The Pre-K goal is to provide a safe and secure “home away from home,” while at the same time providing little ones with opportunities to experience a wider world. Socialization is very important. At preschool, children meet new friends and develop social skills. The atmosphere is loving and friendly. At the same time, academic learning is present.  The children are exposed to developmentally appropriate education so their natural love of learning is fostered and sets a strong foundation for future years.

Our teachers specialize in Early Childhood and have been chosen specifically for their abilities to interact with our little ones.

Preschool activities help to build:

  • Reading readiness and language skills
  • Early math skills
  • Phonemic awareness
  • Science and social studies concepts
  • Gross and fine motor skills
  • Fine arts, computer, library
  • Personal and social awareness
  • Peace and security with Christian values including love, kindness, respectfulness, and more.
